PHILANTHROPIC CAMPAIGN
Logo, Website, Brochure, Inserts, Naming, Messaging, Video Script, Style Guide

The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture is a beacon for millions seeking understanding and community. We built a narrative around the special role the Museum plays in shaping perceptions. The campaign brand expresses the Museum’s role as an interpreter of American history, introduces the new Director’s vision, celebrates donors, and invites new donors to join.

Shortly after the campaign’s public launch, the Museum had secured more than 67 percent of its fundraising goal, having raised $234 million of the $350 million goal. The campaign and honorary co-chairs include iconic media and business leaders, two former presidents and first ladies.
